OK, I think we have the plans for our trip north sorted now. We plan to arrive in Portland the afternoon/evening of Monday, March 30 and be there until early afternoon on Saturday, April 4. I can make myself available for a meet-up anywhere in there (including Saturday morning/early afternoon on the 4th) and really hope to see you all.

Hooray! Thanks for starting the thread, Kim! And I think I am pretty free those dates, Reba.

I'm glad that week seems to work and can't wait to see what you guys pick.

Plans have changed and we'll be staying in Portland until evening on Saturday, April 4 so I'm open for that afternoon too.

I would be up for dinner and Powell's after on Wed 4/1 or Friday 4/3
or
lunch and Powell's after on 4/4.

Thoughts??

Our daughter sings with Oregon Repertory and they are singing with Oregon Symphony on 4/4. She has rehearsals all but Wednesday evening that week so Wednesday is the only night we can have dinner with them. Either Friday dinner/Powell's or Saturday lunch/Powells would be fine though.

>10 RebaRelishesReading: either is OK with me, but I think that Saturday lunch would be my preference. I was going to suggest that maybe we could do the Thai Peacock, for a change, if people like Thai.

But maybe Thai is bad for Kim's allergies? Deschutes or Jake's are always good.

Yeah...Thai is not very safe for me. Sorry. Deschutes or Jakes would be great. I am in for Saturday Lunch as #1 and Friday dinner as #2 backup.

Thanks, Kim, for getting this going. I look forward to seeing you all again. I'm free for either but would prefer the lunch on Sat. I'll will just have finished my radiation and would love a change of pace!

It sounds like we are narrowing down a plan, do people prefer Jake's or Deschute's?

Either is fine with me.

Okay, so Sat 4/4 for lunch!

How does noon sound?

I have an ever so slight preference for Jake's. Others?

>14 Oregonreader: Hang in there until April when your radiation treatment will be DONE!!! : )

Ok, I'm putting noon at Jake's on my calendar for 4/4 (which can be changed, of course, if the preference shifts.

Noon at Jake’s on 4/4 works for me.

I'm assuming this is off now but thought it was still appropriate to say that we've cancelled our trip. I'm looking forward to rescheduling the whole thing "on the other side" :) Stay well everyone!

>21 RebaRelishesReading: Wise to cancel at this point. We'll get together when it's safer for all of us.

Yes, it's too bad, stay well all!

Bummer but wise decision. At least we get to see each other here!
