Nick Cave (the white Australian musician, not the black American performance artist) put in his email newsletter today (Red Hand Files #101) a list of books he recommends. He reports that his 5000+ book personal library is currently packed up and on display at the Royal Danish Library in Copenhagen as part of their Nick Cave exhibition: Stranger Than Kindness. So, this list of 50 or so books is "a rather formless and incoherent grab bag of titles that come to mind at this moment that, for one reason or another, I have loved over the years."
