Here's the "what did you receive?" topic.

Kate is sick, so I'm stepping in to run the various picking processes. If I don't finish them tonight, they'll be done tomorrow.

Hi, I’m new to the group as of June. I don’t see any messages about being selected to review books in June. Where on the website is this announcement made.

Thank you!

>2 Rodmancat:

You should receive a message in your Profile message board, either indicating which title you won, or confirming you did not win any title for the month. In Settings, you can also specify that any such message generate an email to your private email account.

You can also look on your Early Reviewer module for the list of all months. This only displays an entry when you win a title.

There is no Site location where individual members are identified as winners or not.

>2 Rodmancat: If you click on the list of available books in the Early Reviewers Group, in the upper left there is a place to click "Books You've Won" (and also "Books Requested") That should show any books you won this month. It's also the place you can mark books as received or unreceived.

I received Zora and Me: The Summoner and I'm currently reading it, but there's a mess-up in the Early Reviewers listing. Zora and Me: The Summoner is scheduled for publication this October, and that's the book I (very correctly) got. It's the third book in a trilogy:
  1. Zora and Me
  2. Zora and Me: The Cursed Ground
  3. Zora and Me: The Summoner
Problem is, on my "Books you've won" page, Zora and Me: The Summoner correctly appear as the book I've won and correctly links to the Zora and Me: The Summoner work page BUT it shows me as having posted my review on April 29, 2011, which was when I posted my review for the first book in the trilogy.

Tim, there seems to be some kind of confusion among the titles in this trilogy. I don't have any idea of how to correct it myself; and even if I knew how, I'd be very reluctant to mess around with something that could affect every other Early Reviewer's review linkings. Can you get this corrected?

I'm going to PM you, Tim, to bring this post to your attention; but I'm posting it here to alert anyone else who's gotten this book so they're aware of possible problems with posting their reviews.

>20 CurrerBell:

I suspect this is an unintended consequence of the LT practice of ignoring everything after a colon in work titles. It's almost as though "Zora and Me" were a Series Title, but that's complicated by the fact it appears to also serve as the title of the first book in the series.

I am not familiar enough with best practices to attempt fixing it, and agree with your decision to alert LT staff.

>20 CurrerBell: Something similar happened to me a while ago on a title I won; it's something only staff can fix.
