I need some book suggestions!

Hey. Since I'm in quarantine I read all my book and now I don't have any to read. If you have any book suggestions I would love to hear them. Here are some previous books i read:
Percy Jackson
Harry Potter
Prodigy
Keeper Of The Lost Cities
Heroes of Olympus
And here are some types I like:
Young Aldult
Sci-Fi
Light romance
Also if there is any LGBTQ+ books I would like it.

I can personally recommend the Young Wizard series by Diane Duane.
The Nemesis series, starting with Dreadnought by April Daniels is about a trans superhero. Daniels does a good job with conveying some of the distress and confusion of the young hero.

I'm revisiting a favorite - Wonder
Plot Summary: Auggie Pullman, who was born with extreme facial abnormalities and was not expected to survive, goes from being home-schooled to entering fifth grade at a private middle school in Manhattan, which entails enduring and overcoming the taunts of his classmates.

It's pretty wonderful.

Here are a couple of other suggestions:



Love in the Time of Global Warming by Francesca Lia Block. This is a dystopian novel written in a sort of magical realism style. There are queer characters, but the romance is more of a secondary plot point. This has a lot of imagery and references about mythology and Homer's The Odyssey. There is a sequel to this book called The Island of Excess Love that I haven't read yet. These are short books.



Carry On by Rainbow Rowell. Carry On is actually a sort of continuation of Rowell's Fangirl. In Fangirl, the characters obsess over a Harry Potter-esque series about Simon Snow. In the book, Cather writes a fanfiction called Carry On. Sort of how people write fan-fiction about Harry Potter - a lot of it being queer fanfiction. So, in the real published work of Carry On, Rowell gives us the story of Simon and Baz and their wizardry boarding school. The second book in the series, Wayward Son was released this year.



In Other Lands by Sarah Rees Brennan
The story begins with Elliot at age 13 and follows the next four years of his life as a magic school student in a place called the Borderlands. With no friends in the real world, a mother who ran off when he was a baby, and a father who couldn't care less, Elliot understandably has a few issues and uses sarcasm as a coping mechanism. Nevertheless, he befriends an elven warrior named Serene and a human named Luke. They work through the roller coaster of adolescence, all while dealing with an impending war. Though magical creatures and settings appear throughout, they serve merely as a backdrop to the characters as they struggle with their friendship, ideals, identity, and sexuality.
