LOL. Those Del Rey covers from the late 70s sure are pretty bad. I much prefer the original BAF covers from the early 70s.

The one commenter was a little unfair with his font criticism, invoking "a sequel to the Great Gatsby…on Broadway….in the 70’s." I mean, the book was written in the 20s and published in the 70s, so it seems like a reasonable choice, even if it doesn't much suit the narrative contents!
