Group Administrator?

This group has come up on LT's list of groups that are active, but with an absentee "owner" --whomever originally created the group, I guess -- and thus in need of an administrator. That seems to be a person who could be contacted, take responsibility for the group, welcome new members, etc.

I've been the group moderator for a number of years now. It's a job that has required almost no effort -- I think I've only stepped in all of twice to caution somebody in the four years I've been doing it because you all are just that good.

Did you want me to ask Tim to make me the administrator? It seems to have different duties than a moderator but it also seems a little weird to have two different people doing what looks to me like admin tasks.

I am also happy to step aside and let someone else be moderator/administrator, FYI. We'd have to get the LT staff to make that change, but I can say it has not been an onerous task since you all are awesome mature adults who follow the group terms.

Ok, the powers that be have made me an administrator for this group. If you all would like the group description updated or changed, let me know. I can do that. I can also "pin" topics to the top of the list on the group page, so if there are any topics you think could or should be pinned, let's discuss.

Now we need to get you a polyester uniform. And, since you're a woman, we need to appoint a man as your manager who'll tell you to smile more cos you look prettier that way while he takes credit for all your work.

I do make a good pot of coffee for meetings.
