I'm desperately searching for a book Fiction probably Fantasy, the cover had a beautiful illustration of a big red moon on it with a fantasy cityscape below. I cannot remember the title for the life of me (it might have included the words 'red moon' but I don't think it did?).
I read it in the early 2010's I'm pretty sure, and I never got to finish more than the first few chapters. As far as content it seemed to be about priests/priestesses/magic users and a vague political plot taking place in a fantasy landscape that reminded me a bit more of Egypt maybe? There were definitely LGBT romances and mentions of LGBT characters and I'm almost positive the author was a woman. I know this isn't a lot to go on but I'm hoping someone knows at least the cover.
