authors and aliases

hello everyone.

here is a author credited as Rick :https://www.librarything.com/author/rick

he is Rick Priestley: https://www.librarything.com/author/priestleyrick

I am unclear about how to add just the Rick (3) credit from the first page as an alias on the second, could anyone point me to the guidelines for this.

On the right hand side of the "Rick" page, under "Improve this author", you'll see a link to "edit this division". Click on that, and you'll get this page:
https://www.librarything.com/author_split.php?author=rick&page=assign From there, click on "Alias divisions to other authors" and follow the instructions on that page.

Note: by "exact author code", it means "priestleyrick", not the entire url nor "Rick Priestley".
