The export process runs to completion but the download file is empty. Excel or JSON file downloaded from the same library seems okay.

I reproduced this for JSON export, not .tsv or MARC. I got the .tsv and MARC export files for your account as well, edcham.

Update: I am reproducing the MARC error on www (was testing on our dev server earlier). Digging with ccatalfo.

I tried Safari, Firefox, and Chrome, all on MacOS Catalina. I also tried it with my other library, tchamber236.

Great, thanks.

We believe we have this fixed, please let us know if you're still seeing any issues. Thanks!

Thanks, but I'm sorry, it isn't fixed. I can export excel, tsk, and json, and they look (without testing) like they are okay; but marc just spins on forever without making any progress. This is with different libraries on different browsers.

>8 tchamber236: I think it is better to describe one example of the bug and how to reproduce it, rather than "different libraries on different browsers". Bugs are devious creatures and will take advantage of any loopholes.

Well, okay. This issue is not isolated, and I kind of resent bnielsen's apparent suggestion that it is. Marc just isn't working, period. In this library and in my other library, tchamber236, marc just spins with "0 records processed" for beyond any time period I've been willing to wait in Safari, Chrome, and Firefox. Same thing on my iPad. Same thing on my Chromebook. Both libraries are small (500 and 2,200 records) and extracting them for excel, tsv, and json takes only a minute or so.
I see another bug report that others are having problems with the export selection in Excel. That's not the issue for me. The issue is, no marc selection. The original problem I reported of a zero-byte file doesn't exist any more, since the marc export never gets around to selecting any records.

>10 edcham: Sorry. I didn't mean to indicate that the problem was isolated, just that it is easier to find a bug if you have a clear description of it.
