Hello everyone! Back in the late 80s / early 90s I read a collection of short stories that all took place in the same town (I believe it was a seaside town, or perhaps an island). The book had a Twilight Zone / horror feel to it. I remember the cover was brown. Each story involved a different resident or guest of the town encountering some weird occurrence in said town. Beyond this I can't remember anything else about it.

Long shot here -- Dubliners by James Joyce, perhaps?
Several chapters; each about different people; occurring on the same day in Dublin, Ireland. There's a discomforting quality to it, but I read it decades ago, so ... fuzzy memory.

It was definitely along the lines of a straight-up Horror/Twilight Zone vibe. Written most likely in the late 80s or early 90s.

Could it be one of Charles L. Grant's Greystone Bay anthologies? They start with The First Chronicles of Greystone Bay, and go on with Doom City, The SeaHarp Hotel, and In the Fog. They are anthologies of short atmospheric horror stories by various authors all set in the town of Greystone Bay.
