Can anyone recommend CURRENT (in last ~3-4 years) novels set within a psychologically dysfunctional family? e.g. Emotional abuse, domestic abuse, psychological instability, conflict, substance abuse, etc.

You could try The Family Fang by Kevin Wilson - you don't get a lot more dysfunctional than the Fang family.
