I manually added the individual comic book for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles by Eastman and Laird and it automatically added it to what appears to be a collected edition.
How do I separate my edition and what do I need to do in the future as I read the individual comics so as not to repeat this mistake?
Thanks for your input and help.

>1 BookstoogeLT: The auto-combiner can't really differentiate between an the first issue and the first collection, so that's why it happened. This happens all the time with comics, and the only way I've found that usually prevents this is to include "issue" or "volume" in the title I'm entering.
For instructions on how to combine and separate, see https://wiki.librarything.com/index.php/HelpThing:Combine
I've separated your issue from the collection, but am not sure it's been combined with the correct issue #1. Is it issue #1 of the 1984 series or of the 2011 series? Another problem with comics is that there can be so many first issues!

Touchstone: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Vol 1, #1
This might not be the correct one but is a way to get into the series to look around.

>2 amanda4242: Good to know, thanks for that. It is the 1984 series.
>3 aspirit: Thank you. That's the correct series and issue. I'll have to try to remember to label any new additions in that same manner.
Thank you both very much.
