I was wondering if anyone knows whether the binding on this book is sewn? I couldn’t find anything on the publishers site. Have considered buying some of their books but unsure about quality (compared to, say, Subterranean Press).

I have the deluxe signed edition in a slipcase, which should be the one you linked to. It has a sewn binding, which I found kind of hard to see, though, since the stitches are pretty deep in the binding. But they are there. The type of paper isn't mentioned, but it looks like good quality to me. There are quite a few black and white illustrations. It's good quality and a nice edition, I'd say. I have a few more of their books and was always happy with the quality. They do look different to Subterranean Press, though, the paper is smoother and whiter, I think.

There's a site that often sells discounted copies, sometimes with defects. It appears they have this title on sale there, though I can't see anything about defects:

The bottom of their site reads:
"This is a clearance site and most of the titles are in excess of three years old. Whilst we will take care to ensure that the books are are in good condition, some will inevitably show signs of signs of age, hence the price. If a product is missing a jacket, or slipcase or is in anyway incomplete we will list this separately and describe the defect/omission accordingly."

Just a heads-up :-)

Thanks to both of you for the info!
