Found: Fiction, YA, science fiction?

The plot was a series of short stories centered around the main male protagonist. Some of which included: him switching bodies with his pet cat and exploring his neighborhood from his cat's point of view. Him making his family disappear after putting some sort of (magical?) Sunscreen on them causing them to disappear wherever the sunscreen touched, I vividly remember him detailing how he didn't wash any dishes because his parents usually did them so he threw away glass plates and silverware. And then the last story I remember was him traveling to the future and meeting his future wife (girlfriend?)

I read this book in the 4th grade, I was 8-9, so that would have been 14-15 years ago 2008 or 2007

I believe it was for children/young adults, it was in my elementary school library which had grades kindergarten through 4th grade

I read it in east Tennessee

I remember it being a chapter book, the cover had a cat with a boys body. I want to say the cat head was black and white with green or yellow eyes
