When I add a book on the "Add books" page, I sometimes get a green message saying "There is another version of this work in Your books". Usually this just means I've added the same work twice, either because I really do have two editions or because I've mistakenly re-added a book I'd already catalogued. But sometimes the problem is more complicated.
In today's example I went to "your books", making sure I'd selected "all collections", searched for the author, and found 4 books, with nothing that looked like a duplicate. I guessed that someone had mistakenly classified my new book as being the same work as one of the other 2927 books in my collection - but which one was it?
While I eventually figured it out (see https://www.librarything.com/topic/339364 and https://www.librarything.com/topic/339365) it would have been much easier if the green message had included a link to the book or books the system believed to be other versions of the same work.
It would also be useful in the more normal case, where the error is my own.
Please add such a link.

It’s there on the Work page. Just under the details of your work, will be “your other editions.”
