April 23 is World Book Day.
The UNESCO website says:
In the preparation for World Book and Copyright Day, UNESCO encourages you to challenge yourself, to explore new topics, formats, or genres that out of your ordinary.
So for April choose something that you feel fits this statement.

Hmm, I think this means I might have to tackle either Finnegans Wake or something by Wyndham Lewis.

This challenge was part of why I read The Hour of the Star, a strange short book that I quite liked.

I will be reading The Golden Ass in the last week of April, as I have not read any of the older books (pre-18th century) on the list.
