Search/add to workbench/back to orig search results

When I do a search to combine I am presented with a list of items that meet my search criteria. I set to alphabetical. I select the first title I want to combine and add to workbench. I arrow back to list, no longer available; the search criteria is there but I must re-select the search, reselect the alphabetical, then and only then can I select the next title I want to add to the workbench to combine. Lots of extra steps.

I would like to go back to the original search results. Is it possible?

I do the same thing a lot, but I open each work in a new tab, then close that tab when I'm done with it. That leaves the search results list exactly as it was.

Thanks for the bump on this. Will ping developers about it.

We made a change that should save your search options when you click back, but there are still some browser-specific things over which we have no control.
