So if a person blocks you, are you unable to to see any posts? such as if this person has reviews?

You can see all of that person's public data, including reviews. The only restriction on you as the person who was blocked is that you can't send private messages to the person who has blocked you.

The person who has blocked you will not see your posts in Talk without clicking to unhide each one.

Please note that I said "public".

An account set to "Private Library" has blocked everyone from seeing reviews from that account.

To the best of my knowledge and limited experience, the Block feature here on LT only really affects Talk. If you block someone, you will still see when they have posted to threads, but instead of the text of their post you will see "Message hidden because you blocked the member (show)". So there is an extra step involved before you see the text of their message.

If someone has blocked you, I think the only way you would know is if they flat out said they were blocking you.

>6 MarthaJeanne: thank you- no, I try not to bother people. its just a case of something I knew I should have seen and didn't; later found it another spot; then it appeared- but the first one didn't; things do change- I don't imagine it- and I don't play around enough to know where everything is in the first place

I think there have been many small changes to pages recently. The account settings area looks different than I remember it from maybe only a month ago. Help pages don't seem to link up to much anymore. We've seen that site updates that change content aren't always announced. Plus, there's the usual problem not one place to ask questions, which means having to remember where information was.

So, yeah, the site has been extra confusing lately. I imagine that feels worse for new and returning members.

If someone has blocked you, they cannot see your posts, but you can see their posts. The only thing that affects you is that you cannot post a message to their profile.

Help pages are written and updated by users but I think a lot of people have gotten out of the habit (and a couple of the users who used to update them a LOT are no longer active)

>10 norabelle414: March is when the changes to account settings started. The changes have been continuing.

The links connecting Help to pages have also been changing. The Help link in the right corner of the upper site menu seems to connect to less and less.
