I went a bit crazy today and bought 2 DVDs & 7 books.

* Meditations: The Philosophy Classic by Marcus Aurelius

* The Transformation of the World: A Global History of the Nineteenth Century by Jurgen Osterhammel
* The Turquoise Shop by Frances Crane (a Golden Age mystery)
* The Sphere and Duties of Government (The Limits of State Action) by Wilhelm Von Humboldt
* The War-Workers by E. M. Delafield

Got a text from another bookseller on my day off to tell me about a book I bought today. Boy, does she know me!

Just spent money on The Call of the WRENS by Jenni L. Walsh, historical fiction about WWI & WWII. Great cover on it reminds me of The Frankie Drake Mysteries. One of the author's books for kids (I Am Defiance) was already on my radar.

and finally arrived for pick up had my ordered German edition of
The master key by Masako Togawa.
