So here is something fun to give a try.

I am going to list a ultb book and you try to find it and who owns it.

The book is "Concern Ursidae Embraces and Light Contacts"

But, wait if I just gave you the title you could look that up instantly. So I have used www.dictionary.com to find synonyms for the actual words in the title. (There is not a one to one word relationship.) The book has been tag ultb and is owned by a member of the group. The person who figures it out, posts the next book in the game thread.

I'll give you one more hint. (Not because you'll need it but because I want to encourage you to look at each other profiles.) The book owner's favorite Library is in the city of Lowell.

Oh an if your the books owner...well maybe wait a while and let someone guess it first...

Maggy's infelicitous behavior.

The owner says she(?) is happy that she can't remember her early childhood, and says she's, well, orderly about her physical books.

So like 1:00 AM would be _______time.

A bend is a kind of decorative knot.

A Crescent is a phase of the _______.

18misericordia
okt 22, 2008, 10:55 am

1:00 AM is Night

Bow is a bend

Crescent is a phase of the Moon....

I found it, but I already did this. Anyone else?

20kevinashley

This thread's gone a bit quiet, but it looks as if misericordia was strongly hinting at "The Night of the Mooonbow" owned by andyray. But I'm confused because lots of other people own that title, it's just that andyray's hasn't been combined. So maybe I've got this wrong.

21misericordia
Bewerkt: nov 17, 2008, 12:32 am

No you're not wrong and you found a uncombined book. Wow! Way to go. Post away!!!

22kevinashley
nov 17, 2008, 4:22 pm

OK, I'll try a slightly different tack. Not so much synonyms as a loose rephrasing or cryptic clue.

"When are we again? Oh, _then_! And look - there's a list, in time order, just the way it should be."

The owner does seem to like his/her tea.

23misericordia
nov 18, 2008, 12:05 pm

"_then_!" hmmm that must mean something....

24kevinashley
nov 18, 2008, 4:28 pm

The underlines were for emphasis - I forgot one can use HTML markup in these groups and fell back on usenet habits. So it should just read then

And the word itself doesn't have special significance.
I wouldn't want to mislead anyone...

So, a day gone by and no takers. I'll try a gentle hint.

If the initial question was "Where are we" it would be about our location in space. But the question is "When are we". So it's about our location in....

Well, you've either lost interest or it's too difficult. I'll try some more hints. An adjective for a time-ordered list is ....

Also, this book has been reviewed by its one owner. From that, one can determine that the number 150 is significant in regards to the book (but you would not know that from the title or author.)

Misericordia, you have it. I believe that, by your own rules, you should name the library but you clearly know who it is. My comment on tea wasn't based on groups (I didn't even know there was a tea group) but on the member's profile page.

Anyway, back to you for the next puzzle.

TallyDi's library...I got worried the book might not be ultb...

41misericordia
feb 19, 2009, 1:39 pm

Hmmm maybe some obscure reference to the owners profile page. Possible something about Singing Canyons...working on it.

42misericordia

Hmmm just whom might be doing the singing... Gaints, Witches, Goblins Oh my!

43LisaMorr
feb 19, 2009, 4:55 pm

The book takes place out West, and the LT member lives 'out West.'
