"Human" geography?
I know that the kind of geography done by my friends who have masters and doctorates in geography doesn't have a lot to do with travel. More to do with sociology. So should that kind of thing go here or in a category under anthro/soc?

Regarding human geography, I think the division between what gets put into what area is perspective. Obviously, most books in the social sciences which have some geography in them would stay with their prime subject and not geography. I don't think geography fits well under say sociology, (although social sciences, a term most do not like, would work), and it is close enough, particularly when you get into cartography, atlases and maps.
