Parts of Mornings in Jenin are non-fiction though (I learned from Susan Abulhawa's reading in Berkeley). But yes, it covers one of the most talked about issues in progressive circles - the Israel/Palestine "conflict." Hopefully it's success will open the door for more narratives from middle east written by people sympathetic to the culture.
