Good lord. Received the new Ken Follett and it's a behemoth. I looked down at the door and thought, 'oh look, someone's mailed me 4 or 5 books. But oh no, it's just one big, 2 pound book.' And it's one of three!

Anyone else?

1: Yes, I got it too! Ken Follett is one of my favorite authors. I've been reading his books since the 80's. So far the book is very good. Out of curiosity I put it on the scale and it weighed in at 2 lbs, 12.3 oz.

The Tower, the Zoo, and the Tortoise arrived at my doorstep today. Paperback ARC, which also came with a bunch of extras- press sheets, fact sheets on the Tower of London and it's menagerie, maps, and a time line on the Tower of London. The cover art is adorable, the story sounds really good, and the extras are fascinating.
