I do love dragons! I'd totally be a nutter like Hagrid about them if I lived in HP world.

One of the things that really impressed me about the series was that Dumbledore mentions in passing the room of toilets which of course we learn in book 5 is the Room of Requirement. I love that we first hear of it in just a sentence or two, then it is a huge part of book 5 and plays an important role in books 6 and 7. Awesome!

So Moody's eye can see through clothing, as he comments on Harry's socks that are covered by his robes. Can the eye be turned off or to a less-penetrating mode? Moody isn't always looking through things like clothes, is he?

Oh the brilliance of Crouch and Crouch Jr! Another spot that is fun to read once you know the whole story. Then it is obvious why Moody really wanted to keep the Marauder's Map. He couldn't very well give it back to Harry who would then look at it and see Barty Crouch standing where Moody should have been.

The Second Task is great. I love the underwater stuff. So creative!

When Snape is talking about what is missing from his store cupboards, Harry assumes the boomslang skin was from 2nd year when Hermione took it for Polyjuice Potion. Of course, it was for Polyjuice Potion again, but it is worded such that the reader doesn't necessarily realize it is being stolen again. Not that I would have been able to guess ahead of time who was making Polyjuice or why anyway!

Rowling has been great through the series of forshadowing. The RoR is just another example, subtle but great.

Yes, I think that would be kind of creepy knowing he (Moody) can look through clothes. Makes me want to put another layer on right now.

Was Hermionie really that dense not to notice the acroynm of S.P.E.W.? Really?

I keep visualizing the Yule Ball, and it is nothing like what they portrayed in the movie (okay, I know a lot isn't and we know that I hardly ever like film adaptations of my favorite books).

Have to agree with kirbyowns. SPEW? What's wrong with HELP: House Elf Liberation Party or something like that?

Ha Ha Moody's Eye. I hadn't thought of that. I doubt the real Mad-Eye would be bothered about looking at anyone naked, only checking that they hadn't secreted any dangerous artifacts in... ahem... unusual places, but as for Crouch Jr when he had the eye... hmm not so sure
