- Building originally built in 1591 as a Jesuit school named for St. Thomas of Aquinas: in 1792 it became the first site of the University of Guadalajara. In 1991 it was dedicated as the Octavio Paz Library during the first Iberoamerican Summit meeting, held in Guadalajara.
