- We are a grade listed classic London bookstore. We were built by the architect,Charles Fitzroy Doll who completed the extraordinary building in 1908. The facade clearly reflects the Gothic style of that period and incorporates a number of imps,gargoyles and further carvings. In 1956 the site was established as Dillons Bookstore to accompany the neighbouring University College of London. In 1998 we became part of the well-known Waterstones' estate and to this day we have five floors dedicated to the bookselling needs of all our customers and an eclectic and exciting events programme to match.
