My new favorite place! Just wish I lived closer! Great prices on non-fiction. I'm a big Civil War, Presidents guy and found a bunch to add to my collection, at great prices!

Was just there, and frankly I'm impressed! Their prices are simply among the best for any used bookstore anywhere - e.g. volume of O'Neill plays for $2.65 (hardcover)! Yes, the stickers aren't the easiest to remove, but as with lots of stores, it's no big deal: just rub off the remnant glue with a dry washcloth and it comes off just fine. And they have a selection of literature and poetry that was great - - their inventory is always changing (they tell me they take in over 15,000 new books monthly!). If you didn't find what you wanted, well worth taking a second look if you give them a second chance in a few months.

Returned a while ago and again found nothing extraordinary. They have consolidated two locations into one huge store. But as goth_marionette comments, their price stickers ruin good books. Stay away from this store if you care about books!

I found many used books in great shape for under $4 a book. Maybe that is high in Va but I was quite pleased. My main complaint was their price stickers. They are placed on the front covers and are very difficult to remove without damaging the book or using Goo gone. There are no rare books but if you are looking for rare then Old Town Manassas has a great used book store for that. The place is enormous and the order is a bit haphazard but I will take that over higher priced books that are alphabetized. To reiterate, as a person that likes to keep their books in like new shape, the price stickers suck.

Agree with the other comment. A very disappointing and overpriced used book store. You're very unlikely to find anything out of the ordinary here. Such a waste of so much space!

Carries a large selection of mass-market genre fiction paperbacks -- crime, horror, fantasy, sci-fi, romance, etc. Prices on fantasy are high (a buck or so lower than cover price); prices on SF are, happily, nice 'n' low. Also non-fiction, of course, but turnover's not so high. And some trade paperback and hardcover. Nothing rare or nicely-kept -- this isn't a place where the books are loved, just sold. Plywood shelves, alphabetizing is only by first letter of the author's name (i.e., the "E"'s are all together, but there's no sorting within the letter). Things from one genre often end up in another. Good place to wander through and hope for finds, but not too happy for the booklovers' morale. I keep wanting to move in and make it prettier, more orderly, and feel less like a worn-down pawnshop. Ah, well.
