Drinking blood, living as an immortal demon and being a pawn between two warring vampire factions isn't exactly how I'd imagined my future. 1st time- I LOVE THIS BOOK!!! I love everything about it. I loved all the characters. I couldn't put this book down. Wonderful story, great character development and a story you can't wait to finish reading.

2nd time- This book is just as great the second time around. I love the characters and the storyline. I just can't get enough of it.

3rd Time- I really do love this book. When I read it or listen to it on audio it is just as good as the first time I read it. Ziggy and Nathan, just reading their names brings me happiness. I wish more people would read this series. (

Not bad...a little too graphic (violence) sometimes but in the end I liked the story and the characters. I’m going to read the following books for sure…see what they’re like…

An interesting story with a nice twist to the vampire genre, this book could have had, and probably should have had, a far darker feel. The style makes for a comfortable read, and it's certainly something you can chill out with (if you enjoy this type of thing) but a grittier narrative would have upped the tension and excitement. I also found a lack of connection to the characters' emotions. The depths that must have been there just didn't come across for me.
Overall, it is a decent weekend (or even beach) read, and does have a number of engrossing scenes. (
