They are all written from the perspective of the dog. These were all so cute and easy to understand. It had good pictures to match the poems, but you could also picture what the poem was trying to tell you. I Didn't Do It is a picture book of poems told in the perspective of dogs. Children can learn how the dog feels when its born, about the dog's fears, what the dog likes to do, etc. This book can help children learn how to relate to the actions and feelings portrayed in the book. The poems are simple, funny, and relatable, and the illustrations are cute as well. This book of poetry is written from a dog's point of view--from birth, to learning house rules, to sleeping on laps and growing older. Most children love dogs and so are immediately interested. The beautiful illustrations of dogs throughout the book draw students in. Due to the narrative nature of the poems, it seems more like a story than a book of poetry. It is humorous and touching-- a great read aloud in one sitting. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
