Two masters at work. A story about a father and son written by a father and son. It is impossible to separate the two voices but I felt Joe Hill's influence in this story and it was better for it. As with all King the characters breathe and are vividly colorful. As with all Hill stories there is more story there than first appeared and it all makes sense in the surprising ending.

Great illustrations made it even better. ( )

Um conto de suspense de prender a leitura do início ao fim.

A forma com que a relação entre pai e filho se resolve (ou se dissolve) em poucas páginas é notável. Inclusive, chama a atenção o fato de a história se basear em tal relação problemática em um conto escrito justamente por pai e filho.

O final é bem amarrado e resolve as diversas pontas que os autores foram deixando soltas ao longo do texto. ( )

Not a fan of the short story, so this fell really flat for me, but it was intense in places. It was a duel between a trucker and a group of bikers. ( )

It took me a while to immerse myself in the story. I probably did not like the story so much. What I have to owe to the author is that his protagonists, as combative as they may be, show feelings that you almost get the feeling that they are softies. ( )
