“The View from the Cherry Tree,” is a very suspenseful thriller about a boy who witnesses a murder, but no one believes him. The murderer, however, knows that Rob saw him, so in turn is now out to kill him. At times there seemed to be some discontinuity in the plot, but the main ideas are understood. The ending seems to come rather fast with some questions not completely answered. Children could relate to the feeling of having no one listen to you when you really have something important to tell. The careful descriptions really bring to life the setting from Rob’s view in the cherry tree. ( )

If you like mistories you should read this book. A kid climbs a cherry tree then dwatches his mean nasty negihbor's murder. ( )
