Very basic, but true instructions on how to get along with others. It teaches that one must be honest, fair, strong and wise using a direct, simple style that appeals to children without being condescending or preachy. Every child should memorize the book (it's not long) by the time he or she reaches kindergarten (and every adult should read it every few days and think about his own behavior). ( )

47 months - There are a lot of adults that could do with a copy of this book! I think it might be a bit beyond O at the moment but I know she picked up some of the ideas. Worth reading a few times at different ages. ( )
