This is another wordless book that would be great for primary and intermediate students. The illustrations follow a young boy who breaks away from his class on a field trip and goes on an adventure alone until eventually meeting back with the class. I thought this book was super fun and creative as it had realistic and imaginative aspects that I think students would love. I think it would be fun to have intermediate students look through the book and write their own stories that go along with the illustrations in the book. I really liked the images of this book as they told a fantastic story. The story of this book revolves around a boy who gets lost in a museum after stopping to tie his shoe. He then finds a door that leads him to a bunch of mazes which he completes and then receives a medal for his adventure. The reason why I think this book is a great read is because it emphasizes that adventure and the unknown is exciting. I think the perfect age level for this book would be early elementary. I think this book would be great for intermediate level age groups. It's a wordless book, but leaves so much to the mind to be creative and imagine what is going on. The story follows a class going to a museum, where one student gets lost and left behind from the group. He finds himself in a secret doorway where he finds a case with mazes in it. He then "hops" into the mazes (looking at them, but the pages show him actually in the maze solving them). He completes them all and wins a medal. It shows him looking at them one last time, then he leaves and meets back up with his class. The very end shows him leaving the museum with the class, with a medal around his neck. The museum tour guide also has a medal, which is thought provoking for students, gets readers to wonder if everything he experienced was real or imagination. Mazes are a full page in the book as well, great for readers to solve on the side for fun! I enjoyed this wordless book because of creativity and imagination. The children would love this story because they'll be anxious to know what's going to happen next. This story will have children to imagine and understand the content of the little boy. The boy goes on the field trip to a museum. When he stopped to tie his shoes, everyone was gone. When he tries to find his group, there's this secret door with a room of mazes. He goes into the maze to find a way out. When he went to another door, he received a gold medal. As the boy steps out of the maze, he went back to the hidden door and met up with his class. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
