Ellie and Michael are special. They are beings that can read each others thoughts and they can fly. When Ellie and Michael traveled to Boston they discover they are Nephilim, the half human and half angel described in Genesis. It was their parents, fallen angels themselves, who caused them to forget who they are and what role they would play. Now that they are aware of who they are the end of time countdown would begin. Michael writes letters to show his love and support to Ellie. Soon those taper off because he has become busy with football. Ellie begins to have unfaithful thoughts about her parents and Michael. As Ellie becomes more involved in her school committee she begins to unseemingly become involved with Rafe. With her personal transition and the world coming to an end Ellie is faced with epic decisions. ( )

In some ways I liked Eternity better and worse than Fallen Angel, the first book in the series.
There was plenty of action, and things that kept me turning the pages, I wasn't sure of who to trust and anxious to see how things would turn out. I still really liked Ellie, and I think that her struggle of maintaining a daily life, and keeping her secret is balanced perfectly. It would be too fake if she didn't have doubts and she didn't have problems.
Michael was a eh point of this book to me. I understand how persuasive the fallen can be, but I feel like some of the points I thought were out of the way from the first book were reiterated, and I really just wanted him to step up more, and see him and Ellie's relationship strengthened.
A very positive point in this story was the addition of the character Rafe. I can't tell too much about him without spoiling, so just suffice it to say that he saved the story for me. He is just what I want in the type of character role he played.
The ending is kind of a question to me. I think that things were wrapped up beautifully even though I do feel like a few of the plot lines were a little rushed in the middle and towards the end. I am not really sure if there is going to be a third book, or where it might pick up if there is.
If you enjoyed Fallen Angels, then I def recommend to pick this book up!

ETERNITY is book 2 of the Fallen Angel series so make sure you snag and read FALLEN ANGEL before you pick this up or you might be a little lost. One of thing that really annoyed me about the beginning of the book is that the first 2 chapters of ETERNITY was just a really drawn out version of the last chapter of FALLEN ANGEL and i felt it was really boring the second time around. Ellie learned and dealt with a lot of things in book 1 and continues to deal with the same things in book 2 to try to stop the evil fallen angels from destroying the world. I honestly cant begin to think of the feelings I have towards Michael. He seems to be way to easily influenced and used and it honestly just got to be to much to have to watch Ellie go through the same stuff as FALLEN ANGEL. I don't thing there will be another book as the ending seemed to wrap everything up but if by chance there is I hope he will have a better knightly role then in the past. I really did enjoy watching Ellie grow into her role as the Elect One. It wasn't super easy for her which made the story better and she had some help from a great new character that I enjoyed learning about. I read both books back to back and I enjoyed FALLEN ANGEL a little more then ETERNITY. I honestly don't think I would read another book if it came out in the series as it just didn't seem to grab me like I wanted it too but I think any fan of YA angel mythology books might enjoy the series.
