A collection of thirty poems make up this book. There are many styles of poetry within this book. Some of the poems contain people, some contain animals, and others contain made-up characters.

This is a good poetry book because it contains many different types of poetry and the poems are short, preventing them from being overwhelming.

The poetry is genuinely funny, the art is very stylized and unique. The strange silliness of the subject matter and the humorous and dynamic illustrations are great for introducing children to poetry. ( )

Summary: This is another lengthy hard back book that has a bunch of different poems in it. It has very unique illustrations to go along with it.

I kind of enjoyed this book it was a little to long for little kids. The illustrations are kind of dark and different but are still unique.

This would be a great read aloud book for elementary students. The silly poems and magnificent accompanying illustrations would capture any audience, but without a doubt would gain and keep the attention of young readers. This would be a great book to read and discuss daily - one poem per day - perhaps as a closing before lunch or at the end of the day. ( )
