This home was issued an eviction notice over two weeks ago. You had until yesterday to move out!” Vicky is an honor student, but then she starts to fall behind in her classes. She was once active and excited for class, but now she’s falling asleep and not paying any attention to her classes. The theme of this book is to let someone help (or try if they can) you with your problems. Keeping them to yourself isn’t a good thing to do because that can lead you to your breaking point. This is one of my favorite books because it teaches you a lesson on pressure. This book also gives examples of everyday life problems; everybody has a struggle. I would recommend this book to a young adult who thinks they’re the only one who has a conflict. The Bluford high series are well written by different people. They are also re-written and I think that is a good thing because multiple people add good parts to the book. Vicky and her best friend Teresa are arguing because Teresa doesn’t like Martin. Teresa think Martin is the cause of everything. Vicky is over whelmed. Vicky had enough of her friends trying to control her! She had enough of everything: her father and his bull-crap, her having to sleep on the couch because of family problems, teachers thinking she’s pregnant. Would she get to her breaking point and break down or stay strong through it all? geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
