I tore through this while kind of hating myself for it. It's an engrossing story but the writing is almost elementary. At times it seems like it was produced in a creative writing seminar, with all the appropriate tropes represented. I won't go so far as to say I'm unhappy I read it, but my life would not suffer at all if I hadn't. (

Not anything super exciting, but I enjoyed this book and it has inspired me to find an out of print copy of "Years of Grace." Which is turning into another enjoyable read. (
