Somewhat scare in text which makes it ideal for classroom read along and beginning readers. This book is comprised of stunning real-life photography which displays the power of wind, such as trees blowing and waves crashing. In addition to the brief descriptions found under each photograph there is a index of sorts located in the back which goes into further and more scientific detail about wind. While young children may not be able to read the information provided in the back it is perfect for the teacher follow up the lesson with. I would recommend this book as it is interesting and informative while at the same time the simple text can provide children with the feeling of "I can read!" ( )
