Oh, this book is clever -- for history, for chores, for starting to understand ancestors -- very, very clever. ( ) A young boy asks his mom why he has to make his bed and starts listing all the chores he already did. His mom said that it reminded her about a story about his grandmother when she was little, and she wanted to know why she had to make her bed and started listing all the chorse that she had done. The story continues like this all the way back to 40.000 B.C. (cavemen time). It was interesting to see the different chores kid had throughout the years. At the end the mom finally answered the question and said "Because I said so". This book tells a short story about a young boy who questions his mother about making his bed and why. He does not understand why, when they both know how dirty it till just get again. His mother teachers his that "it is because I said so!" This young boy obeys his mother at the end of the story but simply doing as she asks. This can show children to respect orders from their parents without asking the question, "Why?" geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
