Froggy cannot find the items he needs for his bike trip because he does not put things away when he finishes with them. The phrase "It's wherever you left it" repeats throughout the story as Froggy seeks for his possessions. The story also includes a running group of onomatopoeia that Froggy makes as he slams and bumps into household furnishings while looking for his lost items. ( ) Froggy wakes up to a beautiful day outside, and he is ready to play! Daddy suggests a picnic and a bikeride, and Froggy loves the idea! However, Froggy cant find anything that he needs to take with hiim on the trip! Finally, he is able to find everything he needs, and they begin their trip. But Froggy is already super hungry, so they decide to eat their picnic on the fron porch. Finally, Daddy and Froggy are ready, and they ride off on their bike into the sunset! This book is very sweet, but also sends the message that it is important to keep track of all of your things or else you will waste the day away trying to find everything! This starts out with Froggy wanting to go outside and play; however, hos father asks him questions and gets him off track. He ends up getting dressed by himself and then his father tells him he has to have his helmet. Froggy has no idea where his helmet is; howevr, he looks all over for it. His dad also asks him to find his net and the ball that his grandfather had given him. Eventually, they make it out the door and then the father asks where his backpack is and the father does not know, so it ends up being a really cute book. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
