All I tend to do is ride my bicycle on the weekends and do some yoga on the weekdays. Yoga is really a new discovery for me, I never really new how beneficial it could be. To help me better a routine, and not hurt myself, I got this great book called "MegaYoga" by Megan Garcia. Garcia is a plus size model and has developed this book for the curvaious woman. I like how she is not ashamed to address issues like when your breast are a little to big to allow you to lay flat on the floor or have a little belly fat that makes it hard to determine where your hip bones are located for some poses. Poses are broken down to different sections of the book- such as warm-up, standing, sitting, and cool downs. This book is for beginners and doesn't go into very complexed poses.... although to me trying the poses where you stand on your head or try to squat on one leg can be kind of tricky. The book also goes into the proper way to breath and stand while exercising which I think is very beneficial sense I know I have a tendiousy to hold my breath in "stressful" stituations. The book is an easy to follow paperback with plenty of pictures and charts, and even list other resources you can use if you really want to get into the yoga scene. I would suggest this book to any woman, plus size or not, who is interested in starting a yoga regiment of her own geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
