Ruthless (Pretty Little Liars, Book 10) (editie 2012)

Each plot is more absurd than the last book. And yet I still keep reading... ( )

I have mixed feelings about this book. Ultimatlly I gave it 4 stars because as I was reading it that's what I felt like. That being said, this series is getting out of control. On the one hand there are just too many books. There have been too many A's, and too much drama (resulting mostly from the girls acting foolishly). On the other hand, the quality of the writing, hasn't suffered. This book is just as good as the originals in writing quality, and plot. ( )

I got this as a Christmas gift, and of course I'm already done with it. While I was highly anticipating this book, it was slightly disappointing. Many other reviews mention this, and I think I'm slightly inclined to agree, that the author is dragging this story out. How do all of these random characters keep appearing (Klaudia, and Kelsey)? How plausible is it really that they all know Ali, and managed to go back to Rosewood and try to ruin these girls lives?

And yet, I'm still intrigued. I want to know what the hell happened to Aria in Iceland. I want to see how this will all finally end, since I've been so invested in it. But, I'll have to wait until June to find out. ( )

Honesty I hated the beginning of this book. About halfway in I was feeling a little better about the book, but the series is getting a little too predictable. At this point I'm pretty much only picking up the books to finish the series. Since they are such quick reads, I figure, why not. ( )
