THE GAMBLE It was a great pleasure to read this again. I had forgotten a lot of the descriptions of Little Proffitt, Kansas, and the spas of the Deep South, so it felt as if I was reading it for the first time.
Agatha wa a beleivable character all the way, evenly matched by the gambler turned saloon owner Scott Gandy who reminded me of Rhett Butler. A really beautiful love story. ( )
