Colin is the bad boy cop who sex escapades are legendary. He is assigned to go retrieve a mob boss's wife and convince her to testify against her husband. He finds out right away there is a leak somewhere and he is chased all the way to CA where Sofia is hiding. As it turns out Sofia and Colin had a hot one night affair in high school and the sparks are still there.. The love scenes between these two are smoking.. In Taking the Heat by Sylvia Day - another hot one.. Starts off with federal marshal Brian Simmons saving his childhood sweetheart Layla Creed who had to go onto WIT-SEC due to witnessing a murder while on vacation in Tijuana from a grenade launched at her convoy. These two were soo in love and fear of losing him due to his job caused to her walk away. While on the run to get to CA so she can testify they start working on their issues and hot sex follows.. Wanted by Karin Tabke's 07/25/2013 This is the first I've read from this author. I loved the story. It was short and fast-paced. But let's not forget the hot sexin'! A part - the leak - left me feeling the story was unfinished. 4 stars! Taking the Heat by Sylvia Day Another sizzlin' story. Just as i anticipated from Sylvia Day. 4.5 stars! All of these stories fit well with one another. The themes are similar but each story was unique. Definately one I'll keep.
