The author did a great job with this story. ( ) Do yourself a favor and avoid this book like the plague. You will only end up severely disappointed at the conclusion of a series that otherwise could have been quite good. I read with great interest the first two books in this series, I looked forward to the third and final book, only to be disallusioned. It didn't even feel as though it was written by the same authors. I had the feeling that the authors didn't know how to end it, were under deadline pressures, so just hashed out the first thing that came to their minds. The idea that one retirement home of grannies in Virginia survives a deadly virus because they are menopausal, yet no other menopausal women in the world survived to take care of these children is ludacris. Especially considering the fact that these children were supposedly from Florida, a place where you never, ever see old women! In addition, the grannies conveniently explain puberty to our young protagonists. I felt like it was a flimsy attempt at writing, and I don't appreciate science fiction literature that digresses into a sex ed class. Do yourself a favor, NEVER ACTUALLY READ THIS BOOK! geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
