Lots of formula Breed here, with lots of dangling storylines. Some confusing things with Dog and several other Coyotes. I felt like there should have been a little more involvement before the I love you, although the mating sex was hot as always. Also the last sex scene just didn't seem necessary, I think I know why it was there but I don't think it was needed.

Quickie Review
An improvement on the last couple of books.
Interesting developments in the plot and the romance is steamy without the angst that characterized the couples in Navarro's Promise and Lawe's Justice.
Wonder whose book will be next. ( )

What a way to leave me hanging! This book was amazing, getting into the spiritual side of the Native Americans that a lot of the Breeds got their DNA from. But we still don't know if Amber will be ok! I like Stygian and his mate and how they end up relating to each other. It was a touching, but also action packed Breed story.

I hope Lora Leigh releases the next book soon! ( )

So on Amazon there have been reviews that there is just sex in here and no addition to the overall story arc. They are wrong. If you skim over the sex carefully, then you do find out more and it does continue the story line. We learn who Honor and Fern are but still need to learn who Judd and Gideon are. We also know that Dog is doing a double-cross but what it is exactly, we still don't know. Gideon is Fern's mate, but who is he? ( )

Predictable but super awesome! I can not wait for the next book! Please let it be the ending of this story arc not another wild leap around! I want Amber to to finally be well so we can get to finding Cassie's mate!

So, happy Lora took this story where the last books were foreshadowing! Although I must say there were points where I was confused about story points. I had to skim through past books trying to see what I had missed or forgotten. Turns out nothing the author just wrote some parts as though we should know details we were never given.

I will keep reading the breeds because I am loyal to the world created and interested in the characters but I really hope the writing steps up and meets me in a happy place! ( )
