Saxon must save from murder Deze bespreking is geschreven voor LibraryThing Vroege Recensenten. I received the e-book as part of Early Reviewers and have now read it twice. I have never read any other Les Roberts books but have now added the second one to my wish list and will purchase that one soon. I found that the atmosphere of the book felt like a 40's hardboiled detective series but set in the 70 or 80s. I thought the ending was an interesting twist. That is why I read it twice to pick up on the hints to the ending that were scattered throughout. Overall a good mystery that I'll probably again. Deze bespreking is geschreven voor LibraryThing Vroege Recensenten. I loved this book. I got it as an early reviewer and thought it was great. I noticed that it originally came out in the 80's and that was a good thing, a fun mystery. i hope the writing smoothes out in the rest of the series but overall it was a very enjoyable book. Deze bespreking is geschreven voor LibraryThing Vroege Recensenten. I received this as an early reviewer ebook. I love the author's Milan Jacovich series and was excited to read another series by him. Sadly, Saxon is no Milan! I enjoyed the story of the actor/P.I. looking for who is trying to kill an author, but the love story didn't work for me and the dialogue was kind of corny. Also, the ebook had typos and problems with quotes for the dialogue, which was distracting. I think I'll just stick with Milan and leave Saxon in LA. Deze bespreking is geschreven voor LibraryThing Vroege Recensenten. I was excited to get this book, as I received a previous Les Roberts book featuring Milan Jacovich and enjoyed it tremendously. An Infinite Number of Monkeys, however, did not live up to my expectations. Saxon is a PI to pay the bills in between his acting jobs, and tries not to damage his face, but seems to lead with his chin. The book seems to channel older-style PI's and I personally didn't care for the style. That being said, I have taken most of Les Roberts' Milan Jacovich books out of the library and really enjoyed all of them. I will probably read some more of the Saxon mysteries to give him another chance. Thanks LT! geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
