It has really good picture to text with every poem in the book, and has simple elementary school poems. It uses really fun animals like eels, worms, and alligators. It has poems from books like "I know an old lady who swallowed a fly". Use: to teach children about poetry, in a younger classroom to get them to learn more words because it rhymes. Media: Water color Genre: Poetry In this book full of poetry, the author describes the eating habits of different animals and other things. While these are mostly made up and not accurate at all, the author allows us to see the funniness is what these animals are eating. A majority of the books were about animals, some of the poems were written about children. All of the poems are written by other people; the author simply comprised them all in this book. One of the funnier poems is about catsup. The poem is funny because of how it accurately describes what happens when you try to get catsup out of a bottle: it won't come out, then it comes out all at once. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe
