Wow! I'd love to see more from this series in novel form! ( )

Not bad, not bad at all. The book is a media tie in for the TV show called Warehouse 13. An adventure that hasn't been on the screen.

Myka and Pete are on the trail of a pair of gloves, one that seems to cause sickness and the other that seems to heal. They have quite a chase to get them back as well with lots of interesting twists and turns.

There's also a half funny and a bit thrilling subplot with Claudia, Leena, and Artie that dovetails very nicely with the primary plot.

Overall the story is very well written. Mr. Cox seems to know the show very well (a fact that's confirmed at the end in the acknowledgements). Though I do believe that Joanne Kelly's eyes are more green than brown?)

On the whole he has most of the characters down very well, Pete, Artie, Claudia, Leena, the only character he was off on a bit was Myka. She doesn't quite seem like the same character as on the TV show, but a bland stock Secret Service agent type.

But, that's a small thing and for the most part the book is a great media tie in for the show and even a novel that those who've never seen the show can almost (almost) read without having seen the show as well. Solid four stars and if it weren't for the poor Myka characterization it would be five stars. ( )
