The cover of the book states that the text is also a lullaby. The fact that it is a lullaby is evident in the flow of the text. The sentences flow well and have a lullaby or song impression when reading them. I also liked the big textured illustrations in this book. I felt that they complimented the written text well and overall enhanced the story. The message of this book reflects the value of helping others. Naamah sacrificed some of her rest time to help out the other animals and people on the ark. Even though it was a lot of work it made everyone aboard the ark happy which in turn made her happy. geen besprekingen | voeg een bespreking toe

This book overall was very enjoyable to reading for multiple reasons. The first reason this book was enjoyable was because straight away from the cover of the book I was able to tell this book was going to be a lullaby, and this was double confirmed when the style of text in the book was that of a lullaby. Second thing that I enjoyed throughout this book was it illustrations. I feel that it mixed well with the story in what was written. Overall this book is not just enjoyable because of its unique take on a very old story, but, also because of it’s of illustrations as well as writing style.
